Matthew Douglas grew up in Vermont on a healthy diet of After School Specials and Saturday Morning Cartoons. His work can be described as “a classic animation feel with a pinch of humor.”

Matt started his career in the middle of Mrs. Evert’s second grade class. Although most of his drawings were confiscated, countless math notebooks were filled with a mixture of fractions and cartoons.

His award winning illustrations have been featured in magazines and galleries around the world from Amsterdam to New York City.

When he is not illustrating Gig Posters or Art Prints, Matt usually can be found taking pictures with his eye-phone or perfecting his family’s secret tomato sauce.
